Tempe

Tempe is a 5 year old, beautiful black Lab who is a large girl (108 lbs. now - ideal weight is 100 lbs.) and very strong. She is very loving, housetrained, spayed, and very friendly. Her current fosters call her “a sweetheart” that loves to snuggle next to them. A fenced yard or invisible fence is required. Tempe needs training to walk properly on a leash as it's all new to her, she wasn’t walked on a leash in the past and currently pulls very hard. However, she is smart and already knows many commands. She reluctantly enters a crate as she would much rather be around people. She has not been around children and due to her size, young children may accidentally get knocked over. Tempe lived with another dog and even though she lived with a cat before, her current fosters have a cat and Tempe is not a fan - so a home without a cat is best. She’s being fostered in Fishers, IN. Transport is available.
