Meet Teddy! <br/> Age: 2 years<br/> Weight: 13 lbs<br/><br/>If you're looking for a happy little shadow who will happily cover you in kisses, Teddy just might be your perfect match!<br/><br/>Teddy is a sweet, easy-going boy with a medium energy level and occasional bursts of playful zoomies. He absolutely loves toys, enjoys playing with other dogs, and is happiest curled up in your lap or giving you endless face kisses. (Seriously... endless! )<br/><br/>Teddy gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and respectful children over 6 years old. He's mostly house-trained and does great when reminded to go outside, although he doesn't yet go to the door to let you know he needs to potty.<br/><br/>Teddy is a very special little guy. While he has no medical issues, it's believed he may have experienced oxygen deprivation at birth or another early trauma. Because of this, he sometimes looks to another dog for cues on how to "be a dog." Having a confident canine companion helps him thrive.<br/><br/>A few things to know:<br/> Loves: Toys, lap snuggles, face licking, and Pill Pockets!<br/> Not a fan of: Grooming.<br/> Eats: He's a grazer and likes to snack throughout the day.<br/> Crate: He hasn't needed to be crated.<br/><br/>Teddy's perfect home would be one where someone is home more often than not, has plenty of patience, and already has another friendly dog to help him build confidence and continue learning.<br/><br/>If you have room in your heart for this lovable little guy, Teddy will reward you with unwavering loyalty, constant companionship, and enough kisses to last a lifetime. <br/><br/>Apply at Chirp.me/LDR <br/><br/>Our adoption process starts with our application. Once the application is approved, a member of Legacy will contact you to set up a home visit. The home visit usually last 1-1.5 hours and is to make sure our dog and any current dogs/cats are getting along, as well as both of us agreeing it's a fit. At this time the adoption fee is due, and begins the 2 week trial. We will check in during the 2 week trial. If it's not working, our dog is returned to the foster home and all except $100.00 $75 if Senior of the adoption fee is returned. At the end of the 2 week trial, you decide if you will finalize the adoption - if finalized, the Adoption Contract is signed and all medical records are turned over to you.
