He’s a sweetheart and can’t wait to meet you.<br/><br/> Strengths:<br/>• Friendly, sociable, and gets along well with other dogs<br/>• No resource guarding, food aggression, or reactivity<br/>• Active, agile, and an excellent companion for hiking, adventure sports, or even skijoring<br/>• Quiet and well-mannered in the home<br/>• Currently living comfortably with other dogs<br/>• Extremely smart and takes correction very well<br/><br/>Things They’re Working On:<br/>• Can be a bit of a counter-surfer and will benefit from continued guidance and correction<br/>• Pulls on the leash when excited and needs someone who can work with him on consistent leash manners<br/>• May have some herding-breed traits and will need a home that can support his higher physical activity and mental stimulation needs<br/>• Will require time, patience, and routine to adjust to a new environment and settle into his new home<br/><br/>About Teddy:<br/>Age: 2 Years Old <br/>Gender: Male <br/>Weight: 45lbs to 50lbs <br/>Vetting: Vaccinations are UTD, he’s neutered and microchipped <br/>Potty Trained: Yes<br/>Crate Trained: Yes<br/>Dog Friendly: Yes<br/>Cat Friendly: No <br/>Kid Friendly: Yes but it’s preferred that he is with children over the age of 10<br/>Prey Drive: We are still assessing and monitoring but he does seem to show interest in small animals, we are unsure of his mix and suspect that he is part herding or working breed. <br/><br/>Ideal Home:<br/>Teddy’s ideal home is with an experienced dog owner who understands the importance of consistent guidance, patience, and structure. He will need someone who can give him time to adjust into his new routine and is comfortable providing calm, fair correction—especially for his counter surfing and leash pulling. He would do well as an only dog or living alongside another respectful dog companion. Teddy will thrive with a family who can keep up with his physical needs, offer plenty of outdoor activity, and provide mental stimulation to match his intelligence. An active, nature-loving home that enjoys hiking, adventuring, and regular exercise would be the perfect fit for him.<br/><br/> Adoption Fee: $400<br/> Questions?
