Teddy's Story

Location: Centerville, OH

Food: Royal Canin Gastro Puppy

Medication: NexGard Plus, Lomotil, Clay RX, and Forti Flora

Meet Teddy... a pocket-sized prince with the soul of a warrior and the face of a squishy little angel
At just 12 lbs and almost 7 months old, Teddy is the definition of "tiny but mighty." Life threw him a pretty unfair plot twist early on, but he handled it like a champ. After being surrendered for a rectal prolapse and navigating some post-surgery bumps in the road, this brave little nugget has officially been cleared for adoption by his vet. Translation: he's ready to trade in his hospital storyline for a happily-ever-after.
And oh, those eyes... big, round, heart-melting orbs that seem to whisper, "snacks? snuggles? both?" You don't stand a chance.
Teddy is a social butterfly in a compact bulldog body. He loves his foster dog siblings and even gets along with the resident rabbit, which means he'll likely do well with cats too. His vibe? Friendly, curious, and always down to join whatever is happening... especially if it involves cuddles or chaos.
Now, because Teddy is both adorable and honest, here are the things his future family should know:
He's still working on potty training. Due to the nature of his surgery, there may be some temporary nerve-related challenges, so he occasionally needs help staying clean. The good news? Nerves can heal, and he's already putting in the effort like a determined little overachiever.
A heart murmur was detected. Right now, it's a bit of a "wait and see" situation. It could resolve as he grows, or it could require lifelong monitoring and care. At this stage, no crystal ball exists, just a lot of love and cautious optimism.
Teddy isn't a "perfect" dog in the traditional sense. He's something better... a resilient, joyful, slightly wobbly little potato who will love his people with everything he's got. He's looking for a home that understands his journey, embraces his quirks, and is ready to cheer him on as he continues to grow and heal.
If you're the kind of person who believes the best things in life come with a little extra story... Teddy might just be your perfect match

***Adoption Process***
-All current pets in the home need to be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines and on veterinarian prescribed flea/tick/heart worm prevention.
-Everyone living in the home, including all resident dogs, must be present at the meet and greet located in the Southwest Ohio area.
-We DO NOT ship dogs!!!
