Teddy's Story

Teddy
Aussie/Shepherd mix
Male
4 months old
25 lbs.

Howdy! I’m Teddy. I was just sitting here watching reruns of The Beverly Hillbillies. You know, the show with that pretty lady named Ellie Mae who loved critters! It inspired me to make up my own theme song. It goes like this:

Come and listen to my story ’bout a boy named “Ted”
A poor Aussie mix without a soft bed;
And then one day PawsCo gave me a sweet ride,
and now I’ve got a sweet life, sleepin’ inside!

How’s that? I’ve got a bunch more, but first I’ve got to practice my new skills, like potty and crate training, and learning to sit and stay. My foster says I’m a fast learner and getting all this stuff down like a champ. I’m still a puppy, so I need some patience and a little training and I’ll be golden! Actually, I’ll be black and tan, but I’m proud of my beautiful coat and my loving teddy-bear ways. Life is good now, and I’ve got nothing but love and gratitude to show my forever family. I love toys too! Bully sticks have to be the best thing ever invented.

I have a foster sibling, a cool dog who lets me follow her around. We get along great! I haven’t met any cats yet, but I’ll bet I would enjoy a feline housemate just fine. Kids look like fun too! They have their own toys I hear, and I’m told that I’m only supposed to chew on my own toys. Man, this growing up thing sure does come with some rules, but if it keeps me safe and on the way to being a great companion, then I’m all in!

I sure can’t wait to be in my forever home. If you think we’d be fit as fiddles together, please send an email to adopt@pawscoadoptions.org or fill out an adoption application on the PawsCo website. I just can’t wait to meet you!
