Teddy's Story
Teddy is such a sweet 10 lb. approximately 1 year pup, especially given his background. He was rescued from a nightmare that left him literally shaking in the presence of people, but w/ a lot of TLC & patience, he has bloomed into a calm little pup eager to explore the world. Hes still a bit jumpy, especially when meeting/around men. Much more relaxed w/ women & children.

He loves dogs of every size & age & seems calmer around them so a family w/ an existing dog might be just what he needs while he gets used to the people in the family. Loud noises/voices still scare him but hes come a long way from jumping at every sound to being ok w/ most household sounds.

He sleeps easily in a crate overnight when youre near him, but doesnt like to be in one when u go out & hes alone. But hes a chill pup so can be left out w/o any issues. Hes the 1st foster Ive had whos never had an accident in the house, which is especially impressive since hes just around a year old!

So if youre looking for a sweet pup who loves to go walking (& hes a great walker...no tugging, zig-zagging, etc) & is equally happy sitting next to u all day, Teddys your guy!

If you are interested in this dog The first step is to go to our website and fill out an application. https://placingpawsrescue.org/applications/dog-application/

ADOPTION FEE: $450.00 The adoption fee includes all age appropriate vaccinations including rabies, HW test if age appropriate, de-worming, microchip, fecal, spay or neuter, Heartworm and flea and tick preventative. ADOPTION PROCESS: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application online at www.placingpawsrescue.org. Once we review the applications, those applicants that are thought to be a good match will be contacted as quickly as possible. We ask that you please be patient with us as we are all volunteers. Then a telephone interview will take place, references checked and a home visit will be conducted. We will then arrange for you to meet the dog. We require that all family members, including current dogs meet the dog prior to adoption. We put all of the known information in the animals description. If the animal is listed on the website, we are still accepting applications for that animal. We only remove the animal when the final adoption paperwork is signed. The best way to contact us is by email at placingpaws@yahoo.com. It is very difficult for the limited numbers of volunteers to return all calls. Thank you.
