Nearly two years old, he is affectionate, intelligent, and deeply loyal to his people.<br/><br/>Teddy loves classical music and jazz, cuddling on the couch, and playing with toys and balls. While he enjoys romping in the yard with his foster sibling, his favorite place is close to his humans. He is a high-energy dog who does best with structure, routine, and clear guidance. Teddy is food-motivated and responds well to reward-based training, though he may show some resource guarding around other dogs.<br/><br/>Since arriving in BC in August 2025, Teddy has made wonderful progress. He has worked with a professional trainer on basic manners and reactivity, which can be triggered by unfamiliar dogs or people, loud noises, or sudden surprises. Teddy is fully house-trained and non-destructive when left alone, though he may need time to feel secure in a new home.<br/><br/>Teddy would thrive with an experienced, patient adopter who is committed to continuing his training and providing the activity and engagement he needs.
