Teddy's Story

This adorable little boy was moments away from being euthanized at the Downey shelter for a minor fracture that required no surgery and healed on its own. He is doing so well and is in the most amazing foster home with two foster sibling pups. He is so much fun, he’s just a happy adorable little boy with the best energy. Whoever gets him is going to be so lucky. We love Teddy so much!

Callies Canine Rescue's Adoption Policy
The major steps are the adoption application and agreement, the interview(s), the home check, ID and social media verification, the meet and greet, a $600 tax deductible adoption fee, transfer of medical records, and planning the best day to bring your new family member home. We always recommend it be earlier in the day when the home will be calm for a few days. And we are there to guide the family through every step of the decompression and settling-in phase.
