Teddy's Story
Meet Teddy

Age: ~3 years
Neutered Male
Foster Home

Teddy is a handsome brindle German Shepherd who is finally getting the chance to experience what life in a loving home feels like. Since entering foster care, he has continued gaining weight, settling into a routine, and showing more of his sweet personality every day.

His foster family lovingly calls him "Teddy Bear" because of how much he loves to cuddle. He enjoys spending time with people, has done wonderfully with his foster's grandchildren, and is happiest when he's soaking up affection from his family. His foster believes he is truly the "diamond in the rough" they hoped he would become.

Teddy is house trained, crate trained, and continuing to make great progress as he adjusts to life in a home. He is learning what it means to simply be a dog-relaxing, receiving love, and enjoying the comfort and security he deserves.

Thanks to the generosity of his foster family, Teddy has also completed a 2-week board and train to help continue building his skills and confidence. He will continue growing through structure, consistency, and positive experiences as he moves toward his forever home.

Teddy has received treatment for heartworms and is doing very well. His future adopter should be committed to continuing his training journey and providing the stability and consistency that have allowed him to flourish.

If you're looking for an affectionate companion with a resilient spirit, a heart full of love, and a second chance at life, Teddy may be the perfect addition to your family.

Apply to adopt Teddy:
https://oklahomagsr.org/adopt
