What is Barking Back’s adoption process?

We are not a shelter, we do not have a physical address.  All dogs are in foster homes in the NY/NJ area.  Please use our fillable application (link below) to apply to adopt a dog, questions can be directed to barkingbackrescue@gmail.com.  All applicants must be approved before meeting a dog.

What is Teddy’s adoption fee?

$600

Is Teddy good with kids?

Teddy is good with kids under the age of 5 and kids over the age of 5.

Is Teddy good with other animals?

Teddy is good with other dogs and cats.

When can I meet Teddy?

As soon as the adoption organization has a chance to review your information, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.

When can I adopt Teddy?

Time to adopt varies, but typically adoption organizations require an official application prior to adoption. If you’re a match, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.
