An update to all those who expressed an interest in Teddy. Hi everyone! Teddy is ready! Here is what we know and where we think Teddy will be the happiest: He definitely bonds hard to his person and may even be overly protective of him/her. We suggest no children in the home. Also, Teddy is particular about his playmates. A home with no other dogs would work the best for him. Playdates could be arranged after he "reviews" resumes submitted by other dogs. He is entitled to prefer some dogs over others. It's always up to the dogs. Teddy seeks out squirrels and barks "hello" when he sees one. Or maybe "get the heck out of my yard!"<br/>Teddy is approx 34 pounds, 1 1/2 years old. He is a happy, energetic, affectionate dog who loves being with his people. He would be happiest in a home without children or cats. Teddy loves playing with his dog friends in a fenced backyard. And he also loves jumping in a water feature. He is a water dog! Don't ask the breed; he is AKC =All Kinds of Canine. He comes with a paid-for training package with several sessions left.<br/>Teddy's love language is food! He is extremely treat motivated which makes him fun to train. He is still a young dog and continues to learn obedience through positive rewards. He learns quickly!<br/>Teddy will sleep quietly through the night in his bed near his family. He can be crated if need be but he is a good boy in the house. He has a strong prey drive that includes cats and squirrels. A fenced backyard is critical for him.
