Teddy's Story

Teddy really is a terrific little guy and has been living with a foster family with another husky since becoming a Shadow Husky Rescue dog in August 2025. He is GREAT with other dogs at home and at the dog park. After a long walk he just loves to cuddle with his person or the pack. Teddy is house trained, extremely smart, learns quickly, and loves to play fetch and with his toys. He is looking for a home with someone who can be with him most of the day, as he is quite the velcro dog - very much a lover and not a loner. He would be a great partner to take on long walks or hikes, and then for settling in with you on the couch at night. He really likes to be near his person/family. Getting out on walks and exploring is the best part of his day. He could fetch a ball all day. He is still young and very much full of puppy energy and fun. His DNA tests revealed that he is 78% composed of northern breed genes: 71% Siberian Husky 4% Chow Chow 2% Alaskan Malamute 1% American Eskimo 4% German Shepherd Dog 2% Australian Shepherd 2% Border Collie 4% Rottweiler 4% Chihuahua 3% American Pit Bull Terrier 2% American Staffordshire Terrier 1% Dachshund. Other than his dominant northern breed gene, he’s a little bit Heinz 57 but that’s what makes him so perfect and special!!!!!!!!!!
