Waverly Pet Rescue helped with his adoption once no owner came forward. Teddie had many applications and lots of interest is why he has been adopted already. He went directly to his forever home once the 7 days was up at the vet office.<br/><br/>Based on his teeth, Teddie is less than 6 months old. He is tiny at 4 pounds and has medium length hair. He is very sweet and friendly. No idea how he ended up a stray out in the country, word in that area is that he was dumped. Sad start to his life, but seriously his life is now forever changed due to the kind people that found him, our awesome sheriff's office that really care about the strays, the vet office that takes care of the strays and if not claimed find them rescue, all the love he received online once posted as a found dog, and now to his forever home. He will be pampered, loved, and get excellent care for the rest of his life. <br/><br/>Teddie's adoption fee: Adopters pay his all his vet bills in full including his future neuter, vaccines, etc. plus $100 donation to Waverly Pet Rescue.<br/><br/>WE ARE A NO-KILL 501-C-3 NON-PROFIT RESCUE. All donations are tax deductible. We do not have a shelter. All pets live in foster homes. We only adopt to indoor homes. To see an animal, you must fill out an application first and then once approved, we can set up for you to meet the animal you are interested in. We do background checks on all applicants. If you have assault, domestic abuse, or drug charges please do not apply. If you have questions, please send an email to waverlypetrescue@mchsi.com<br/><br/>All animals see a vet for shots and normal exams. If they appear healthy and there are no obvious health concerns, then extensive testing is not done. This is normal procedure for pet rescues and shelters.<br/>Waverly Pet Rescue puts a lot of money into medical care for each dog and cat we take in. $450 is the average cost for basic care. This does not include if the animal had an injury, required extra flea / ear mite treatments, or needed extra days at the vet office.
