Ted's Story

Ted joined the CVHS team when his owner became homeless, and could no longer care for him.

Ted may be a tad shy initially, but once he knows you're a friend, he's all about staying close, leaning in for cuddles, and enjoying your company. He will gladly be your shadow, as he's happiest glued to his human friends!

Ted previously spent time around older children, as well as other dogs. We have not had a chance to introduce him to dogs because of his recent neuter, but he is non-reactive to seeing other dogs here. He has not been around cats.

Ted is eager to learn, and a smart cookie, so he's doing really well getting comfortable with crate, responding well to four-on-the-floor training, and he walks wonderfully on a leash and harness.

A 5-week Good Manners training course is included in Ted's $350.00 adoption fee. Please call the Adoption Center at 802-476-3811, or email info@centralvermonthumane.org, to schedule a time to talk to an adoption counselor about him, and to determine if you should meet Ted.
