She came to Nala’s after her family lost their home, and we stepped in just before she was scheduled to be euthanized. Now she’s hoping for a soft place to land.<br/><br/>Family‑raised — She spent 10 years sleeping in bed with the kids, loved and trusted as part of the family.<br/><br/>Calm and easygoing — A true couch‑potato companion who’s happiest curled up beside you.<br/><br/>Great on a leash — Gentle, steady, and easy to walk.<br/><br/>Housebroken and well‑mannered — She knows home life and misses it dearly.<br/><br/>Low‑maintenance — Minimal exercise needs and a beautiful short coat.<br/><br/>She Qualifies for Our Senior Foster Program<br/>Because she’s a senior, Tazmo is part of Nala’s Senior Dog Permanent Foster Program, which has placed hundreds of older dogs into loving homes. We require a fully completed application available on our website at www.nalasrescue.org and we check veterinarian and personal references. Then we organize a meet and greet with the pet you chose and eventually a few more to give you options. The next step is a home visit and introduction to your other dogs and cats. We are always looking for the best match possible and accompany you every step of the way to ensure a happy and peaceful adoption.
