Taz is sweet and friendly with people and enjoys human companionship, making him a wonderful candidate for someone looking for a loyal, affectionate companion.<br/><br/>Taz is still working on his potty training, but with a consistent routine, patience, and positive reinforcement, he has all the potential to truly blossom. He wants to do well and will benefit from a home that can provide structure and understanding.<br/><br/>When it comes to canine companions, Taz is selective with other dogs, so he may or may not be able to live with another dog. A meet-and-greet would be important to see if it’s a good match. We’re also unsure how he is with other animals or young children, so a calmer home environment may be the best starting point for him.<br/><br/>If you’re looking to open your heart to a devoted senior who still has plenty of love to give, Taz might just be your perfect match.<br/><br/>Since many of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes, appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!<br/><br/>Our adoption fees include the following: all of our dogs/puppies are current on vaccinations (DHPP and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, heartworm tested and current on preventative, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks and are spayed or neutered. Our large dog adoption fee is generally $175 + tax. Our small dog and puppy adoption fee is generally $300+ tax. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Due to space limitations, we do not hold dogs.<br/><br/>Because we are on a busy street, we require that all dogs leaving the shelter be in a carrier or on leash. All pets remain up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee paid.
