TAZ's Story

Meet Taz: Ready for His Best Chapter Yet
Responding to assist local LE when it was learned that a dog was left behind at a residence where they were working, Taz was discovered and safely brought to the shelter. Taz is now looking for a new leash on life, and given the conditions in which he was found, we are focused on making this next chapter his best one yet.
Much like a stray with an unknown past, we are learning who Taz is day by day during his stay here. What we do know so far is that this cute guy has places to go and people to meet, and he is convinced you’re not walking fast enough to get him there. He does pull while on leash, and he met a similar-sized spayed female shortly after arriving. He immediately went into playful wrestle mode and showed off his zoomies without giving his new friend any time to introduce herself. His parkour-style routine of bouncing, rolling, and slamming into his playmate made it clear he is all silliness and energy.
Taz may come on strong to some, but he is simply eager to play and make new friends. He is hoping to find a family ready to teach him how to be a dog, help him learn manners, and give him the grace, patience, and love he deserves. With consistency and guidance, he will become the loyal companion every family hopes for.
Come meet this adorable 2-year-old and see if you are meant to spend forever together. He is offering forever and is excited to begin the best chapter of his life.
Adoption Fee: 80
All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and preventatives. Adopters should establish vet care after adoption to maintain their pet’s long-term health.
Meet and greets with other dogs and children are recommended to ensure a proper fit. Please bring a collar and leash or purchase a combo from us for only $15 to safely transport your new pet home.
The 3-3-3 Rule
• 3 Days to decompress
• 3 Weeks to learn routines
• 3 Months to build trust
Taz / A318377: 2 years old, neutered male, 35.10 pounds
#adoptfromicas #myicasrescue
