Taytum's Story
Hi! I'm Taytum, and I'm so happy to be in Minnesota! I'm on a very important mission: finding my perfect forever family. ❤️

I came to Minnesota with my sister after we were found as strays in Alabama. The wonderful people at Warrior Dog Rescue brought us north so we could have a chance at the happy, loving lives we deserve. And let me tell you--I'm discovering that life in Minnesota is pretty wonderful!

For now, I'm living with my amazing foster family, and they've been teaching me all about the good life. I have a foster mom and dad, two human brothers (ages 8 and 10), and two foster-pup sisters. When I first arrived, the world felt like a pretty scary place. But with patience, kindness, and lots of love, I'm learning that people can be trusted. I've settled into my foster family's routine, and my resident pups have been wonderful teachers and have helped me become much more confident.

Now I love playing with my doggy sisters, and I think having a canine companion in my forever home would be pretty fantastic. A playful pup who could be my best friend? Yes, please!

I've also learned that humans are pretty great. Once I warm up to someone, I love being near them--and I've even learned that jumping onto the couch to ask for snuggles is a wonderful thing! I'm still a little shy when I first meet people, but give me some time and kindness, and you'll see my sweet personality shine through.

I may have missed out on some of the good stuff during my first nine months, but I'm making up for lost time! I'm playful, curious, and especially fond of chew toys. I'm still learning the difference between things I can chew and things I shouldn't chew, but I'm catching on. My foster mom says I'm doing a great job!

I'm also a big fan of my kennel. My foster mom leaves the door open, and I'll happily wander in when I need a quiet place to relax and decompress. I sleep peacefully in there all night, and I'm comfortable going in when my foster family needs to leave for a little while. Of course, I'm also perfectly happy taking a cozy nap on the couch or snuggling up with my humans. ❤️

I'm learning all about leash walks, too! I don't pull, but I do believe that every walk should include plenty of time to stop, sniff, and investigate the important doggy news along the way.

I'm still learning and growing, but I'm ready for my forever family to continue showing me the world and helping me become the best dog I can be. I'm lovable, playful, loyal, and eager to learn, and I have so much love to give.

Could you be my forever family?

I'm looking for a loving home where I can keep building my confidence, have a patient family who will let me warm up at my own pace, and--hopefully--a four-legged companion to play with and learn from.

Whether you're looking for a snuggle buddy, a playful sidekick, a walking companion, or a pup who will happily roll in the dirt with you, I just might be your girl.

I've had a new beginning. Now I'm ready for my happily-ever-after. 🐾❤️
--------------------------------------------

All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.

Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.

Adoption Fee - $400

To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/
