Taylor's Story
Meet Taylor (her friends call her Tay-Tay) the tiny boxer! This sweet girl has everything you love in a boxer all wrapped up in a pint-sized package. She’s affectionate, loyal, social and good with kids. She loves being around her people and would do best with a family who doesn’t leave her for too long, or better yet, is willing to take her along on their adventures.

Taylor loves car rides and jumps into the back seat without hesitation. Walks are on the top of her daily to-do list and she is working really hard to master her loose leash walking. She is also putting in a lot of effort to learn some basic obedience skills since she was not exposed to any kind of training before coming to her foster home. The good news is that Taylor is very food motivated and should be able to catch up on her training with patience, consistency and lots of treats!

Taylor loves playing and snuggling with her foster family’s resident dog and would be happy with a doggy companion. Taylor will protest when it’s time to go in her crate at bedtime, but will usually settle down quickly. Although Taylor’s past is unknown, it’s clear that it has not had an impact on sweet and gentle nature.

***For more information about this dog and information on how to apply to adopt, please visit www.ncbr.org***

Adoption Process At a Glance.

- Step 1 – Fill out the Adoption Application
- Step 2 – Preliminary Screening by Application Team which includes a Landlord Check (if applicable) and Vet Check
- Step 3 – Meeting with appropriate boxer(s)
- Step 4 – Home Visit
- Step 5 – Adoption Day

Adoption Requirements At a Glance.

* You must be 21 years of age.
* You must have a fenced in yard (exceptions can be made for certain dogs).
* All current pets in the household MUST be spayed/neutered and current on shots (yes, we do call and verify this information).
* Applicants with young children will be required to answer additional questions.
* Applicants that rent must provide landlord contact info.
