Taylor's Story

Taylor’s day out 🐾

This 5 month old boy is a kill list survivor, mange kickin, parvo beatin, nub tail waggin little man who is ready for his next challenge: finding a forever home.

How Taylor doesn’t have a single app is beyond us. The ears? The eyes? The tail? He checks all the “holy cow that puppy is cute” boxes!

Taylor went on his first real outing today, after coming to us a month ago with patchy hair loss, scabs all over, a hernia the size of Texas, and needing isolation after potential parvo, and he did AMAZING!

True to the social butterfly he is, I’m not sure his tail STOPPED wagging. He greeted everyone as if they were his bestie, walked great on leash, and honed in on “come”, “sit”, and taking treats gently.

This handsome guy is dog friendly, people friendly, kid friendly, LOVES to play, loves walks, loves to run, loves toys (literally this boy loves everything), and even dog savvy cat friendly! He loves them too, and might come running up. Naturally if they run, he will chase. But when he reaches them it’s all love… and if they don’t run, it’s all love!

Taylor is so close to being potty trained, does great in his kennel, and travels so well in the car you hardly notice he’s there! He is a Heinz 57 breed, with a lot of breeds dashed into one and we suspect he will be around 55 pounds (although a short stack 55 pounds) when full grown. A great size, a great puppy… what’s not to love!? Fill out an application to meet this boy.. if you’ve read this far let’s face it… you and him were meant for eachother! 😉

Adoption application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BSD/Dog

Bruno's Foundation's Adoption Policy
We are a foster based facility, meaning all of our animals are in homes, not a shelter environment. This allows us to get to know them better, and provide on one training for each animal. In order to limit the amount of people going in and out of our foster homes, we do require a filled out application prior to a meet and greet. We are a 501c3 non profit. All adoption donations are tax deductible! Please click the link on this page to fill out an application for adoption. Allow 48 hours for a reply, we only have one person who reviews applications so please be patient. A phone call will be scheduled should your application fit the needs of the pet you’re applying for. During this time, we will set up a meet and greet, then a home check (virtual or in person). We DO allow out of state adoptions however you will be required to travel to pick up, and this will depend on how the pet you’re applying for does with travel. All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed prior to adoption.
