Taya's Story

Meet Taya!

If we had to guess, we'd say Taya might be a Shepherd/Husky mix based on her looks--but as with most shelter dogs, that's really just our best guess. What we do know is that she's a wonderful dog looking for a family to call her own.

Taya is around 6 years old and weighs 47 pounds, making her a great medium-sized companion. She's past the puppy stage and has settled into a sweet, easygoing adult personality.

Taya gets along well with other dogs, enjoys being around people, and walks nicely on a leash. She doesn't pull you all over the place and makes a great walking partner. We haven't had the opportunity to see how she does with children yet, so if you have kids, we encourage you to bring them along to meet her.

Taya comes with quite the resume! She is spayed, vaccinated, flea and tick treated, heartworm negative, on heartworm prevention, microchipped, and ready to head home with her new family. She was also treated for Lyme disease and Ehrlichia, and her treatment has been completed.

All that's left is finding the right family.

If you're looking for a sweet, friendly dog with a great temperament and all her medical care already taken care of, Taya may be the perfect fit for you.
