Terrific Tawny is ready to find his forever, and he wants his new people to know these 10 things about him:<br/><br/>1. I am a Boerboel, and I am about 1.5 years old. <br/><br/>2. I am still very much a puppy: I have lots of energy and I am very curious. I would really like a home where I could get lots of physical activity and mental stimulation, because I’ve been known to be naughty when I’m bored. <br/><br/>3. I am a pretty social boy, and after a short introduction, I like almost everyone I meet!<br/><br/>4. The words that best describe me are outgoing, energetic, and playful.<br/><br/>5. I think I could live in a home with kids over 12, as long as they weren’t too loud or rambunctious and had some previous experience/training with big dogs. <br/><br/>6. I wouldn’t mind being the center of attention, but I also wouldn’t be opposed to a large female dog that I could play with at my new home! <br/><br/>7. I haven’t spent much time in the company of cats since coming to the Bullpen, so I don’t know if a home with felines is a good fit for me.<br/><br/>8. My favorite things to do are hanging out with humans, running around in the yard, and playing with toys.<br/><br/>9. I am crate trained and I have almost perfected my housebreaking skills. I am also pretty good on a leash, and I know basic obedience and how to use a dog door. <br/> <br/>10. Fill out our Adoption Application, located at www.bullpenrescue.org under the 'work with us' tab.<br/><br/>We highly recommend that our potential adopters fill out an online application as soon as possible, as it greatly expedites the process of finding the right dog for your situation. <br/><br/>Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a "perfect placement" so we know that they will not be failed again.
