Tau (MA GAP)'s Story
This dog's fosterhome is located in: MARLBOROUGH, MA

Tau (aka Cole) is a 3 ½ year old bundle of energy, topping the scales at a trim 11 pounds! He was adopted through Ratbone Rescues 2 years ago, after he was found on the streets of Miami with what turned out to be a broken leg that never healed properly. After migrating up north to Massachusetts, Tau has been living with his adopted Rattie brother Pi, and more recently another Rattie, Pemdas, and Rat-pack honorary member Rhombus (Italian greyhound/Chihuahua mix). Unfortunately, the level of energy coming with the three “Rats” has caused a number of serious disagreements. Tau is WONDERFUL with people and with most dogs, but doesn’t understand why some may not want to meet him. He’s got a very big personality, runs circles around the yard with abandon, but will also be comfortable snuggled up to you on a couch. Tau loves to go for runs with his humans, and shows no signs of hindrance from his leg. He is also very smart, as he has shown the ability to quickly pick up a variety of commands, like Sit, Down, Rollover and Wait (for his food), among many others. But like most Ratties, his energy at times gets ahead of him, and he tries to guess what you want him to do. Tau's family is very sad to have to re-home him, but they realize that they aren’t able to provide the right home for him to thrive in. The perfect home is one where Tau can be shown consistent guidance and leadership, along with PLENTY of love and attention. Dogs who respect his personal space might be a plus, as Tau loves to play. You can find more pictures of Tau in his photo album at this link http://imageevent.com/rattiemom/tau.

Our minimum suggested adoption fees for 2016 are: Adult Dogs $175, Puppies under 12 months of age $200, and American Hairless Terriers $225.

Please go to our website to find information on the adoption process, to fill out an application, to see other available dogs or to become a volunteer:

www.ratbonerescues.com
