Tatum is a young female Boxer mix who is a social butterfly! She loves people and being around them. Tatum needs a home with an active owner and someone who can keep her busy. Maybe someone with knowledge and experience of the Boxer breed. She knows a few basic commands, loves Kong balls with peanut butter, treats, going on walks, and car rides. <br/><br/>If you love a goofy dog, Tatum is your girl! Tatum will do almost anything to have someone pay attention to her. Just a little bit of TLC will make this young lady a very happy girl. She can never get enough of those human smooches!<br/><br/>Tatum would be great around children of all ages but she has the energy of a pup still. She would need to learn basic household rules as she has never lived inside a home before. Tatum would need to be evaluated with cats and dogs to see how she handles the situation, which we prefer a meet and greet with pets currently residing in the home. Humane Society of Adams County Inc.'s Adoption Policy

It is the mission of HSAC to reduce pet overpopulation and increase public awareness of the humane treatment of animals. To this end, HSAC will ensure that all animals adopted through this organization will be sterilized and fully vetted prior to adoption, or will be contractually required to be sterilized and fully vetted within a set amount of time following adoption (as in the case of animals too young for certain procedures at the time of adoption). HSAC has also created a clause in every adoption agreement that animals may be returned to HSAC for any reason if the adopter feels they can no longer keep the animal.
