Taters's Story

Taters is a 17 week old Boxer pup with a goofy grin, a wiggly butt and and calmest personality you'll ever find in a young pup. He may be deaf, but that doesn't slow him down - he's incredibly smart, observant, and already learning hand signals. He absolutely loves his toys and will happily entertain himself for hours, whether he's tossing them around, chewing quietly or snuggling up with a favorite stuffed friend.

Taters enjoys being close to his people, is working hard on potty training and continues to make steady progress. He's 90% there!. He sleeps all night in his crate and keeps it clean. He will thrive with a family willing to continue to offer structure and communicate with visual cues. Deaf dogs are amazingly capable and Taters is ready to show just how amazing they can be.

Adoption fee is $500 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, fecal/deworming, vaccines and prevention up to date. Ohio residents only.

STS is a foster-based and volunteer-run rescue. We do not have a physical location or set hours for you to meet dogs, and it does take time to answer each inquiry. All dogs are in foster homes and once an application is approved and a home visit is completed you will be able to schedule meet and greets with available dogs. We encourage interested individuals to get approved prior to searching as it helps expedite the process. A Petfinder inquiry is not a substitute for an application.
