Tater Tot's Story

Tater Tot
Female, spayed
Breed: Chihuahua Mix
DOB: 4/16/24, 2 years old
Weight: 8 pounds

Tater Tot came to us as a stray, and she has proven to be an incredibly sweet, affectionate little girl. She's settled beautifully into her foster home and gets along great with her two small canine foster siblings. She loves to go on walks but isn't super high energy and is just as happy snoozing on the couch all day.
Tater Tot would do best in a home without cats. While she hasn't been around children yet, due to her small size, an adult home, a home with older kids, or one with smaller dogs would be the best fit for her comfort.
She's making excellent progress with house training and hasn't had any accidents since she's settled in. Tater Tot is not a fan of being confined in a crate overnight and may bark if closed in, but she will happily go into her crate on her own when she's ready to relax.
This tiny pup has a big personality! She walks wonderfully on a leash, rides great in the car, and for such a small dog, she's incredibly brave and loves being part of whatever is going on around her. Her favorite snack is dandelions, and she has a funny habit of gently nibbling your hair and “grooming” you - it's her way of showing affection! She also loves to lock eyes with you and stare straight into your soul. If you're looking for a loving, quirky, and spirited companion, Tater Tot might be your perfect match!

If you are interested in meeting Tater Tot and are pre-approved, please message our facebook page.
