Tater Tot

All Aboard!!! Animal Rescue Passenger Tater Tot Waiting for a Forever Home!

ADOPTION FEE: $425

Meet Tater Tot: This big boy is truly just a giant baby. He LOVES cuddles and pets. He will be your little shadow and is ready for his forever home who will give him all the love!

From Their Previous Shelter:

Playgroup - https://youtube.com/shorts/55TVyqZJNIM

In kennel - https://youtube.com/shorts/wklAEaP0RQA?feature=share

Playgroup - https://youtube.com/shorts/VesBHVEzH34?feature=share

Sunglasses! - https://youtube.com/shorts/hUplTXMW_qg?feature=share

Toys with dogs - https://youtube.com/shorts/zt7U637Rnkw?feature=share

Pup cups are life! - https://youtube.com/shorts/L6uSvMMMQrc?feature=share

Treats with dogs - https://youtube.com/shorts/9YL42DLq5bw?feature=share

Toys with dogs - https://youtube.com/shorts/fp21o5VDCxk?feature=share

Playgroup - https://youtube.com/shorts/H-ZIovhNmc8?feature=share

Sweet boy! - https://youtube.com/shorts/8m4265lTSUA?feature=share

Playgroup - https://youtube.com/shorts/uC39nCFjoqA?feature=share

With another dog - https://youtube.com/shorts/3urhblX7lDI?feature=shared

TATER TOT - CRISPY ON THE OUTSIDE, 100% MUSH ON THE INSIDE

Meet Tater Tot, a 2-year-old, 65-lb neutered pit mix who has been waiting at the shelter for FAR too long for someone to realize they're missing a very important side dish in their life.

Tater Tot is basically a house hippo disguised as a potato product. He's calm, cuddly, loves other dogs, is potty trained, walks great on leash, and believes snacks are a perfectly acceptable form of currency. Show him a treat and this handsome spud will happily sit like the distinguished gentleman he is.

And toys?! TENNIS BALLS ARE LIFE.

Regular tennis ball? Excellent.

Tennis ball that SQUEAKS?! Somebody alert ESPN because Tater Tot has entered the building. He LOVES them, and despite his appreciation for the finer things in life, this sweet boy has no issues sharing his treats or toys with dogs OR humans. No potato-related resource guarding here - this is a generous spud.

We've also discovered Tater Tot has another calling in life:

PASSENGER PRINCESS.

This boy LOVES car rides. Open the door and he jumps right in like, "Excellent. I assume we're getting pup cups?" He happily cruises around town, enjoys meeting strangers along the way, and takes his role as Chief Road Trip Potato VERY seriously.

And yes... PUP CUPS. This man understands the finer things in life.

He's not asking for Michelin-star dining. He's not demanding a private chef. He just wants snacks, squeaky tennis balls, pup cups, car rides, cuddles, dog friends, and a couch where he can achieve his final form:

Couch Potato.

Tater Tot has spent far too much time watching people walk past his kennel, and we genuinely don't understand how this premium potato is still on the shelf.

He is truly such a GREAT, GREAT BOY. He's potty trained, walks beautifully on leash, loves other dogs, shares treats and toys wonderfully, enjoys meeting new people, rides like a champ in the car, and will happily accompany you on a pup-cup run.

This isn't some half-baked potato - THIS SPUD COMES FULLY LOADED.

Underneath that big ol' pittie head is a sweet boy who simply wants what every shelter dog deserves - a family to love and a place where he finally belongs.

He doesn't need anything fancy.

Just someone who chooses him.

So if your home is missing 65 pounds of love, cuddles, squeaky-ball obsession, questionable personal-space boundaries, spontaneous pup-cup runs, and potato-based happiness, Tater Tot would like to formally submit his application.

Come meet Tater Tot and GET THIS SPUD OUT OF THE SHELTER.

He's ready to stop being a shelter tot, jump into YOUR car, grab a celebratory pup cup, bring along his squeaky tennis ball, and finally become somebody's Tater Tot.

Interested in this furry companion?
The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button.

*PLEASE NOTE*

Photos, information, age, breed, size, medical status, behavior, and adoption fee are all subject to change as we get to know them. We will continue to update their profiles with information and photos to better represent them!

We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have animals at our office, and not all animals attend adoption events. As their voice, we advocate for their well-being by raising awareness about the shelter crisis, promoting responsible pet guardianship, and ensuring the compassionate treatment of all animals.

*Our Vision*
We envision a world where every animal is understood with empathy, treated with kindness and respect, and where the unique bond between humans and animals is cherished - enriching all lives.

*Spay & Neuter is required by law in Colorado, helping to break the cycle of unwanted litters.*
Please consider supporting our mission.
