Tater's Story
Meet Tater! Your next best friend is waiting!

At just 7 months old, Tater is a sweet, fun-loving Heeler mix girl who is ready to find her forever family! We aren’t sure what she’s mixed with, if anything, but we know one thing for sure this girl is as sweet as they come!

Tater is wonderful with kids and other dogs, and she’s full of personality and fun! She’s mostly house trained and is working on her leash skills and crate training. Like any young pup, she’s still learning all the things that will help her grow into an amazing lifelong companion.

Tater does have a high prey drive, so cats and chickens aren’t likely to be a good fit for her. Because she’s a playful, enthusiastic young Heeler, a home with older kids would be best.

This girl has so much love to give and so much potential! With a family willing to keep teaching her, give her adventures, and include her in everyday life, Tater is going to make someone one heck of a best friend.

Could Tater be your missing piece? She’s ready to find her people!

Available through Herding Dog Rescue of Central Oregon submit an hdrescueoregon.com. $400 adoption fee.
