Tater

Tater is a 5-year-old, 55 lb blue and white pittie who is happiest taking life at his own pace. He's a sweet, gentle guy with a low-key personality and just enough spunk to throw in a little hop when he gets excited.<br/><br/>Tater was found with another dog, Brown Gravy, who is also at the shelter. He appeared to have been tied to a fence, as his collar still had a piece of fence wire attached to it. Despite his rough start, Tater has been nothing but sweet with the people caring for him.<br/><br/>He mostly enjoys sniffing around and taking it easy. He takes treats gently, responds well to cues from staff and volunteers and appears to be house trained. He could also use some help putting on a little weight.<br/><br/>Tater is an easygoing guy who doesn't ask for much. Give him some snacks, a little time to sniff and a comfortable place to relax, and he's pretty happy.<br/><br/>As always, we strongly recommend that resident dogs meet any new potential canine family members.
