He is affectionate, friendly, and loves being close to his people. True to his breed, Tater believes everyone he meets is a friend and does wonderfully with strangers, including at the vet.<br/><br/>Tater was rescued from a backyard breeder where he spent much of his early life confined to a small cage🥺 Because of this, he developed carpal deformities in both front legs, with the left leg more affected.<br/><br/>Health & Special Needs:<br/>Veterinary specialists have advised that surgery may be an option, but the window for surgery is very limited since Tater is already around 2 years old, and the procedure is very expensive. *Korean Paws Rescue (KPR) requires that potential adopters complete the application (link attached) for any dog they are interested in adopting from us. 1. The first step in the adoption process is completing the online application. 2. Review adoption applications 3. Adoption screening interview with our team 4. After screening steps, you will be notified your adoption application has been approved All adoption fees are tax-deductible. *KPR will not offer arranged out-of-state transport service for an unseen dog-adopted site. We will not adopt to Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut or any like state with strict import laws requiring extensive quarantine of the dog upon arrival, it’s too stressful on the pet and costly. Additional fees on out-of-state adoption will apply, including the cost of health certificate(s).
