Here comes Tarzan! He's an approximately 4-month-old, 8-pound, mixed breed. Given his small size, best guess he will be a small dog when full gorwn. He may have applications in progress, but is currently available. He has been a little shy at first, but is proving to be brave, mighty and fearless. <br/><br/>Found alone in the woods, Tarzan isn't letting that stop him - he loves, loves, loves to cuddle. He is happiest curled up in your lap or on your shoulder. A firm requirement for his forever home will be with someone who will be thrilled to have him curled up with them.....pretty much anywhere - the couch, the bed, under blankets, etc.<br/><br/>He can hunt down a bag of treats in no time and nothing is too big for his little body to decide to carry around the house. Tarzan is learning all the normal puppy things - housoe training, crate training, etc. He's making great progress - it helps that he's very treat motivated. Once he is introduced to new dogs and feels comfortable, he is happy to play. We are guessing some of his shy behavior is due to being abandoned in the woods at such a young age. He is coming out of his shell more each day in his foster home - his foster believes that with a patient family, time and stability as he grows, he will gain more confidence. <br/><br/>Adoption fee is $500 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, fecal/deworming, vaccines and prevention up to date. Ohio residents only.<br/><br/>STS is a foster-based and volunteer-run rescue. We do not have a physical location or set hours for you to meet dogs, and it does take time to answer each inquiry. All dogs are in foster homes and once an application is approved and a home visit is completed you will be able to schedule meet and greets with available dogs.
