Tart's Story
Meet Tart, a 3-year-old female Poodle mix rescued from a puppy mill. Tart is a special girl searching for someone with patience and love to help her adjust to her newfound freedom. She is still wary of people and touch, needing time to build trust. Tart requires a dedicated person to guide her in discovering life outside the mill and learning how to be a dog. She isn't yet comfortable walking on a leash and will need support to gain confidence. Tart gets along well with other dogs her size, and their company brings out her personality, making her tail wag and her eyes sparkle. She might thrive in a home with another dog to show her the joys of life and teach her the ways of being a dog. *Please note that Tart needs a home with a fenced yard.* Tart dreams of finding someone who will give her the time, effort, and love she deserves.
