Tara T's Story

Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VT

Good with dogs: Yes
Good with cats: Unknown, likely yes
Good with kids: Yes, dog savvy children
Crate trained: Yes
House Trained: Working on it

Meet Tara, a sweet and fun brindle beauty who will keep you laughing! Like a true puppy, she loves to work out her energy wrestling with her doggy friends and then crash hard for a nap. Tara is looking for a home where she can have all of the love, structure, and playtime that help a pup grow into a faithful companion.

This adorable girl greets every dog and person she meets with clumsy puppy happiness. She has done great playing with her canine siblings, with young kids, with a Great Dane, and with all adults. Tara is still learning how to read social cues, so she would do best with dog-savvy kids. While she hasn't met cats yet, she would likely do well with them with proper introductions—though she'd probably try to play with them, too! Tara is an outdoorsy girl who loves to explore and sniff all the new smells she finds outside, and she loves to be picked up and have her belly rubbed.

Tara is making great progress with her crate training. She may complaing for a minute as she settles in, but then she stays in her crate during the day and overnight. Tara has also been hard at work on her house training, but she is still a young puppy who will need patience, consistency, and time to perfect it. She has begun leash training and is doing great, and she looks forward to going on adventures with her new family.

Tara can't wait to have a home to call her own. Could she be the missing piece of your puzzle?

Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line.
