TANNER

SAY HELLO TO “TANNER” whose mom is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and dad is a Toy Poodle which makes him a “Cavapoo”. He was born on November 11, 2020, and has been deeply loved, well cared for all his life by a good friend of mine. Sadly, she has sold her home, moved into a Senior Living Center and Tanner came to us.<br/><br/>Tanner will be 5 years old soon, weighs a healthy 9 pounds and measures about 12 inches tall. He is a quiet boy while being extremely friendly, sociable, loving and super smart. He greatly enjoys meeting people too! Just sit down and he will immediately jump into your lap so he can snuggle up to you. Get up and he will follow you everywhere you go; a “Velcro” little boy.<br/><br/>He will also quickly jump onto our bed knowing when it’s bedtime. However, we do not sleep with our Poodles, so Tanner is just fine sleeping in his kennel at night and when we are gone.<br/><br/>This cute boy enjoys going for his daily 1 mile “w-a-l-k” so he can see all that is going on in this beautiful world. Tanner is just fine with all our other Poodles, including our Standard Poodle, Lola and the Poodle Wanna Be, “Rainey”.<br/><br/>But Tanner is NOT looking for another dog friend as he has been an only dog all his life. He now considered himself a family member and not a pet. Your loving attention, warm hugs and a lap to sit in make Tanner happy.<br/><br/>This is a smart boy who lets you know when someone comes to your front door, is house trained and knows where the dog toys are as he greatly enjoys playing with them. He is food motivated and knows all about treats.<br/><br/>*Preference will be given to a family with past Poodle experience.<br/>*While he is leased trained, he greatly enjoys a securely fenced yard.<br/><br/>BUT PLEASE:<br/>*NO aggressive or assertive dogs (they scare him and me).<br/>*NO cats and NO young children.<br/>*Like most rescue groups, we do NOT adopt our Poodles to homes more than 1 day’s drive (round trip) from our location here in central Minnesota.<br/><br/>Tanner has been neutered, teeth have been cleaned, is up to date on his vaccinations, worming, heartworm/Ehrlich/ Anaplasmosis (4DX) tested negative, placed on a heartworm preventative, and Home Again microchipped.<br/><br/>As with all the other Poodles we have adopted, Tanner’s adoption fee is 1 million, trillion, zillion dollars. However, for the right family his adoption fee is $550.00 which includes $38.00 for our 7.375% Minnesota state sales tax and helps pay for just some of his care and Vet work.<br/><br/>Also included is his leash, collar, kennel, a bag of quality food, a dog food container, treats, a large toy box with lots of his toys, a feeding stand and lots of good information to help your Poodle adoption move forward on the right paw!<br/><br/>Again, Tanner is a very nice, smart, silly and friendly boy who wants and truly deserves a loving “forevermore” home!<br/><br/>Please visition our web site for more picutres and information along with our required "Adoption Application".
