Tanner's Story
Since December 2024, Tanner has depended upon his consistent friends at Frosted Faces Foundation. He lovingly leans on them for attention and affection, and this is how we know he has so much potential for an amazing new relationship like that with a mom or dad!

What does Tanner's love look like? Immediate hugs upon meeting you at his kennel or entering his yard. Pressing his full body against you for scratches when you sit and rolling on his back for belly rubs. Tanner even responds well to training cues in the yard, on walks, and in a home environment to tell you he's trying his best.

Now 6 years old, our youngster has been spending his time on weekly runs and hikes. He's also been on overnight field trips a few times this year to give him a break from the kennel, but recently, Tanner spent 8 days in a temporary foster home. He showed us that he is an incredibly loyal, loving and smart learner who deserves a long-term foster home, or even better... a forever family!

Tanner loves travel, loves hiking and being with his favorite humans. He's house-trained, but a belly band helps as he settles into a new space. He rarely reacts to dogs or people in public, but could try to protect his person.

We've learned there's an answer to starting a new path. He's crate trained. For hours. You can have visitors. He's ok on his own. He learns fast!

There's no reason for him to not be in a quiet home, with people who want loving companionship.
Tanner is eligible for the Molly & Me Paid Foster program as an only pet. In addition, Tanner has a donation of training sessions with All Things Possible Dog Training in San Diego gifted to a dedicated foster or adopter.

If you looking for a dog who will truly bond with you -a sidekick, a shadow, a partner for everyday life -please consider Tanner. He's been waiting for you!

REQUIREMENTS OF THE MOLLY & ME PROJECT:
-No other animals of any kind in the household
-Submit weekly photos
-Live an enriching life and include the Frosted Face
-Demonstrate ability to avoid scenarios of negligence that would put the Frosted Face or
other animals at risk

INCENTIVES:
-$200.00/month for a term of 12 months
-We pay for veterinary expenses
-Donated food and supplies

To express interest in fostering or adopting Tanner, please email: placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org
