Tank's Story
This sweet squish face with the cutest underbite is Tank! Tank is a resilient young American Bully who is ready to begin the next chapter of his life. He was found abandoned and tied to farm equipment in a parking lot in the local area, exposed to extreme cold with his feet stuck to the ground. Despite this difficult start, Tank has shown remarkable strength and a gentle spirit.

Now safe in a foster home, Tank is adjusting well to indoor living and the comforts of a stable environment. He is currently thriving with his canine foster sibling and has demonstrated friendly, appropriate social behavior. However, he will resource guard his favorite toys and his crate so he would be best as an only dog in the home. Tank enjoys spending quiet time on the couch with his foster mom and has quickly discovered the joy of peanutbutterfilled Kongs, which are among his favorite enrichment activities. He loves pets and scratches and desparately want to find his person to love on.

Tank continues to settle into his new routine and is showing steady progress as he learns that people can be trusted and home can be a safe place. He is housebroken and definitely medium to low energy. Short walks are enough for this lowrider or time outside in the backyard to roam around. Tank is working on improving his leash behavior—he currently feels most secure holding the leash in his mouth but is making progress during walks!

Tank is ready to meet adopters who can offer patience, structure, and plenty of affection in a quiet home as he continues to grow into the wonderful dog he is becoming. A home with no children or other animals would be best.

Please know that the vast majority of our dogs/puppies are considered “MIXED”, most made of 6-9 various breeds.

MA Rescue License #0078

Please visit our website Sweet Paws Rescue if you would like more information about us.
