Tank's Story
Tank, Lab mix, 8 months, 67 lbs. Tank has had a rough start in life. It's unclear as to what exactly happened to him, but the story is that someone threw him over a fence and his foot was broken. The owners then surrendered him to the shelter. He received medical attention and a cast was put on his foot, but because he's a puppy, they couldn't keep him still, and they had to keep replacing his cast. Unfortunately, the foot wasn't healing properly, so the best thing for him was to amputate his back leg. He's doing great now and will be ready for adoption. Tank is high energy and a typical puppy. He is good with other dogs and cats.
