Tank's Story

Tank's journey has been a bumpy one; he has been rehomed, adopted, and returned at least three times (possibly more) in his short life.

What we know about Tank's history:

August 2025: Arrived as a stray. We've been in contact with the original owner but the timing doesn't seem right to reclaim Tank.

November 2025: Brief trial adoption. He was returned due to separation anxiety and his constant barking causing a neighbor dispute.

January 2026: Adopted

September 2026: Recently returned due to the adopters losing their home.

Through it all, Tank has proven to be a sweet, loyal boy. He may be a little shy at first, which is totally understandable in a loud shelter full of unfamiliar dogs, but give him a minute and you'll see the goofy, loving side he's been waiting to share.

If Tank sounds like the companion your family has been missing, we'd love to set up a meet and greet!
