Hello, my name is Tallulah. Let me tell you my story, so you know a little about me. I was found by someone and they brought me to the shelter. I was really sick but the shelter took care of me and after surgery and some TLC I made a recovery. My family has not come looking for me so they reached out to the rescue to see if they would take me because I have heartworm and need treatment to get better.

The shelter thinks that I am about 5 years old and I am on the small side being I am just under 50lbs. They introduced me to a male dog and I didn't like him getting into my face but I think having a brother might be ok if he was on the calmer side. They also introduced me to a cat, I wasn't really interested. Since I haven't been around children, older ones would be better.
