Talivar in RI's Story
Age: approx 12 years old
Weight: 13 lbs
My adoption fee is $ 275 which includes transportation charges to the Northeast.

Talivar is deaf

Hi there! My name is Talivar, and I’m looking for a special family to spend my golden years with.

I am deaf and may not see as well as I use to, but now that I am taking daily drops that may help. I still enjoy life very much. My favorite place to be is outside! I love exploring a fenced yard, sniffing all the interesting smells, or going for leisurely walks on a leash. There’s just something wonderful about fresh air and sunshine.

I’m a people-loving guy and enjoy being close to my humans. I also get along well with other dogs, so I wouldn’t mind having a canine friend around. At bedtime, I sleep quietly in my crate and settle in nicely.

Because I’m a senior fellow, stairs aren’t really my thing anymore. I’m also still working on my potty training, so I’ll need a patient family willing to help me stay on a routine.

When I move to a new home, I may feel a little uncertain at first. I might whine while I’m learning my new surroundings and figuring out where I belong. Change can be hard for a dog like me. But if you give me time, patience, and love, I promise I’ll settle in and show you what a sweet companion I can be.

What I really want is simple: a safe home, kind people, and plenty of time outdoors. If you think we might be a good match, I’d love to meet you. My best days are still ahead of me—I just need someone to share them with.

If you serious about adopting, the first step is to fill out an adoption application on our website: https://www.smalldogrescuene.org/
