Talia's Story

Introducing Talia, a husky mix who wants you to join the League of Shadows! She's 4.5 years old, weighs 44 lbs, and tends to pull on the leash a bit, so we'd recommend a Weiss Walkie leash from our KHS Store! She's your typical husky, who loves to explore and sniff. Getting pics of her looking at the camera was difficult, but I finally got one after about 15 minutes of trial and error. She's very friendly but doesn't seem to know many commands! Come visit her, if you have the time to train her! ...

Kansas Humane Society of Wichita's Adoption Policy

Adoptions are available on a first come, first served basis - no appointment needed. Holds may be placed for a deposit by visiting KHS, or calling 316-524-9196. When you arrive at KHS, let our adoptions counselors know which animal(s) you'd like to meet in our visiting rooms or play yards. We encourage visits by all members of the household, especially kids and other dogs! *Must be 18 years of age or older (or accompanied by an adult) with a current photo ID. Must be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment, and proper care for your adopted companion.
