Takaya-pending Mixed Breed Saskatoon, SK

Hello future family,

My name is Takaya (aka Little wolf, Little explorer, Little Miss Smarty Pants) - or that's what my foster crew thinks of me anyway. I have a ton of personality and am super eager to please. I also have lots of fun with the toddler on the crew and my brother (Mishka) is also ok.

Even though, like most puppies, I like to use my mouth to play, I am a quick learner and will stop as soon as I understand you don’t like that. I am also very attuned to my mini foster’s feelings about my level of excitement and have been adjusting accordingly.

I don’t necessarily like being left alone, even though my brother Mishka is with me – I prefer my human fosters crew to chill with me as well. But after a bit of whining I do settle in and go to bed. I’d probably prefer to sleep on a bed near my forever family though.

The mini foster and I are also working on potty training. I think I am better at it than she is, especially if I am taken out regularly. Otherwise I know what puppy pads are for and I use them quite regularly.

I am new to the family so walking on a leash is yet something I need to get used to. But my foster mom is sure that the-carrot-on-a-stick approach will work as I am very food motivated. I am also learning to sit, stay and come.

My fosters also house a kitty - he doesn't really like me, but I respect that, can't win 'em all so I give him plenty of space. That having been said, I think I would do pretty awesome with other four-legged creatures to play with. So I'd probably do well in a home with other pups.

Adoption fee is $495 (200 is refunded upon proof of spay). She is microchipped, dewormed, started on age appropriate vaccines and has received a health check from a vet.
