Takaya

Takaya - Siberian Huskey - Estimated DOB: September 19, 2022 (approximately 4 years old)

Meet Takaya, a Siberian Husky with a heart as vast as the tundra! Found wandering the streets of Central Falls, this charming girl quickly won over our ACO Charlene's heart. Her previous owner never came forward, so she's now on a mission to find her perfect match.

Takaya was spayed on October 21st and did very well. When she was found, she had some patches of hair loss but at this time they seem to be resolving. This sweet and spirited Husky has a bit of a prey drive, so a home without small critters is a must. However, she's been non-reactive to dogs her size, so there's potential for her to become best pals with another canine companion—if their required meet and greet goes well.

Takaya is full of energy, curiosity, and a playful spirit. She loves to explore, run, and maybe even pull a few cheeky stunts - like looking for an escape route to get out and explore more. (Huskies, am I right?).

If you're savvy with the breed and ready for an adventure, Takaya could be the perfect addition to your family. Come meet this charming Husky and see if she steals your heart like she did Charlene's!

If you would like to apply for Takaya, you can do so online at Pawtucketanimalshelter.com, or you can apply at the shelter in person.
