Meet Tajin!<br/><br/>Tajin is a 35 lb, 3-year-old bundle of athleticism, affection, and goofy personality who has come an incredible distance since arriving with her foster home.<br/><br/>She came into ACS with significant injuries after being tied up, including a deep wound around her hindquarters and an embedded collar. <br/><br/>Understandably, she was scared and withdrawn in the shelter environment. But once she came home with her foster she began to blossom almost immediately! Within a day, she was cuddling with their exchange student and allowing us to care for her. Over the following months, she transformed into the playful, loving, confident girl we know today. <br/><br/>Tajin happily lives with three resident dogs and has done wonderfully with other foster dogs. She loves to play, wrestle, give kisses, and be part of the family. She’s also a total cuddle bug who regularly sleeps in bed with the foster’s son!<br/><br/>This girl is FAST, agile, and incredibly coordinated! She would make a fantastic running partner and could be an excellent companion for hiking, agility, and other outdoor adventures. Just keep food off the counters—she’s been known to clear one in a single leap! <br/><br/>Tajin is eager to learn and has made great progress with training. She patiently waits for her release command before eating and is working on leash manners, jumping when greeting people, and food boundaries. She may have experienced food insecurity in the past, but she’s learning quickly with consistency and patience.<br/><br/>Tajin can initially be cautious around unfamiliar people but warms up quickly once she feels safe. She has done wonderfully with school-aged children in a temporary foster home and has even handled veterinary care remarkably well despite her difficult past.<br/><br/>Tajin would thrive with an active individual or family who can give her plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, continued training, and affection. She has so much love to give and will keep you laughing with her goofy antics!<br/><br/>Tajin is ready for her next adventure!
