Taj's Story

Taj was found at just 13 weeks old in southern Jordan, bravely dragging his hind legs in search of help. After thorough examinations and blood tests, veterinarians determined that his paralysis was likely caused by a congenital condition. Euthanasia was suggested but we didn't think it to be a fair as we've seen so many disabled dogs thrive and live a happy life – and it proved to be a beautiful decision.

Although Taj cannot use his back legs and needs assistance with expressing his urine and stool, he refuses to let that define him. His playful, affectionate spirit shines every single day. Curious, gentle, and full of personality, Taj has a natural way of making everyone around him smile. He doesn’t see his condition as a limitation — just a part of who he is. Taj melts hearts everywhere goes, and he does wonderful with dogs, cats and children.

Now almost seven months old, Taj is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated and ready to travel whenever his forever family is found. With the right person by his side, he will continue to live a joyful, love-filled life. All he needs is someone who believes in second chances and sees the brave, bright soul behind those shining eyes.

Foster to adopt option available.

To apply, submit your application at www.gwarp.org – when you are done, text Gabi at 646-919-5461 to follow up.

Do not send inquiries or applications on Petfinder as we don’t receive them
