Meet “Material Girl” Taffeta! <br/><br/>Sweet Taffeta is a 7-year-old girl who is still learning that the world can be a safe and wonderful place. She is a very shy, scared little girl, but we’re already seeing glimpses of the sweet dog underneath that uncertainty.<br/><br/>Taffeta is learning so much by watching the other dogs around her. Their confidence is helping her discover that she doesn’t have to be afraid, and she is making progress every day. We’re still getting to know this precious girl, but we have a feeling it won’t be long before she realizes that people can be trusted and starts making her way over for some love.<br/><br/>Taffeta will need a patient, understanding family who will give her the time and space she needs to come out of her shell. Typically, an application and home visit (both of which are required for adoption) MUST be completed, BEFORE a potential adopter will be introduced to one of our pets, in order to first determine that our basic adoption requirements are met, prior to introductions being made. We also utilize personal reference and vet checks (to ensure that any pets already in the potential adoptive home are current on vaccines, heart worm prevention and sterilized) in our adoption process, all of which is intended to ensure that the best match, between pet and people, is made. The adoption fee is based on on the dog's age.
