Tae's Story

Meet Tae – Belly Rubs First, Everything Else Second

Tae is a 6-year-old Shepherd mix with a heart of gold and a serious love for people. If belly rubs were an Olympic sport, Tae would absolutely take home the gold. Her perfect day includes a few minutes of joyful zoomies followed immediately by flopping over and requesting affection—preferably from anyone within reach.

Tae is incredibly sweet with people and would do best in a home with older children, as she can be a little jumpy when she’s excited. She truly thrives on human connection and loves being part of the action, whether that’s hanging out in the living room or soaking up attention from her favorite people.

While she’s a social butterfly with humans, Tae does need to be the only dog in the home. On walks, she’s not reactive and walks nicely on leash—she just prefers not to have other dogs in her personal space. She may be enthusiastic for the first 30 seconds of a walk, but she quickly settles in and strolls along like a pro.

Tae is crate trained, potty trained, and already has the manners to be a wonderful house companion. What she truly wants is a home where she can be the center of attention—and honestly, she deserves nothing less.

We know finding a single-dog home can take a little longer, but we also know Tae’s perfect family is out there. She has so much love to give and would make an incredible addition to a home ready to make her their one and only.

Tae is heartworm positive and has started her treatment to undergo her injections at the end of March.

If you are interested in chatting about Tae, please visit our website and fill out an adoption application or send us an inquiry here so that we can send you the link.

Please note that we do not ship dogs. If you are not local to Dallas, you must travel here to meet her and bring her home.
