Rescued for death row at a shelter in Cali, Tadpole came at the request of a shelter worker who had met him and wanted this exceptional little boy to live. Tadpole is young, under a year old we believe, and weighs about 12 lbs. He is a bundle of fun, loving to play but also great hanging around with you. He likes other dogs, and has done well with the kind and tolerant dogs we have had him with while he has been with us. He also has been okay with cats, though sometimes thinks they should play with him. He crates well, and has been good about going outside. His goal often though is to come in and hang out inside. We have been enjoying this fun little guy and hope to find him an amazing forever home.<br/><br/><br/>Most of our dogs require a fenced yard. We seek fully fenced yards with a physical, visible fence. Typically, the fence must be connected to the house/ a door in the home, and the dog safe fenced area must exclude driveway and car access. Shock/electronic fences will not be approved for most dogs. A sturdy, high quality crate is also required (due to safety concerns, no wire or soft crates will be accepted. Impact, Ruffland, 4 point contact locking door Skyline, Zinger Winger, etc type crate). We will be considering homes in W. Wa and possibly Oregon, no other out of state adoptions at this time. Adoption donation is $500.00 to help cover his transport, vetting, daily care, vaccines, etc.<br/><br/>THIS DOG IS IN FOSTER CARE IN POULSBO, WA. MEET AND GREETS WILL TAKE PLACE THERE AS WELL. <br/><br/>REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION:<br/><br/>- Securely and visibly fenced yard <br/>- Sturdy/safe crate, due to the safety hazard wire crates will be not be accepted.
