Tadeo's Story

Hi there! I’m Tadeo, a 2-year-old, 21-pound Maltipoo with a sweet personality, a loving heart and a serious appreciation for belly rubs! I’m one of those happy little guys who just makes life a little brighter. I love people, enjoy making new doggy friends and have so much affection to share. If you’re looking for a best friend who will happily soak up your attention and remind you every day how wonderful it feels to be loved, I think we’re going to get along just perfectly!

I have a great medium energy level, so I’m always up for some fun, but I also know how to enjoy the quieter moments. I walk beautifully on a leash and absolutely love a good belly rub! There is just one little thing about me that I hope you’ll understand. At some point in my past, I didn’t always know when my next meal was coming and that experience has stayed with me. Because of that, I need to be fed separately from other dogs so I can enjoy my meals without worrying about anyone taking my food. It’s a simple adjustment that helps me feel safe and secure. Outside of mealtime, I’m wonderfully dog friendly and just an all-around sweet, lovable boy. I’ve already been through the hard part of my story and now I’m ready for the chapter where I never have to worry about being hungry or unloved again.

I’m dog friendly, people friendly and can be cat tested upon request! I’ll come fully vetted, neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. My adoption also includes one month of FREE pet insurance plus a Fi Nano Mini GPS tracker with six months of tracking service ($20 activation fee)! All I’m asking for is a family who will love me, keep my belly full and give me all the belly rubs my little heart desires. Could you be the one to give me the happy ending I deserve?

If interested, please DO NOT submit an inquiry through Petfinder. Fill out the application at the link below.

https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/63adcb00cb896f59b74103d2/6ae009a6ee565757b500b59e

Angie's Dog House's Adoption Policy
Our Adoption Process Our goal is to make the adoption process as smooth as possible while making sure each animal is matched with the right home 1. Submit an Application Complete our adoption application using the link at the bottom of each animal’s bio. Our team will review your application and if approved, someone from the rescue will reach out. PLEASE DO NOT FILL OUT AN INQUIRY ON PETFINDER 2. Home Video Once approved, we will ask you to submit a video walkthrough of your home and yard in lieu of an in-person home visit 3. Animals Already in Foster If the animal is currently in a foster home, the foster parent will contact you to answer questions, tell you more about the animal and arrange a meet and greet. Please bring a leash to the meet and greet. If everything goes well and you feel it is the right match, you may complete the adoption and take your new family member home that day 4. Direct Adoptions From Transport Some of our animals travel to Michigan specifically for direct adoption rather than going into a foster home. Because these animals are coming on transport specifically to meet their approved adopter, a direct adoption must be a firm commitment. Please ask any questions and make sure you are comfortable moving forward before committing to a transport animal 5. Finalizing the Adoption To complete the adoption, you will sign our adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. Once complete, your new family member is officially yours and can head home with you
