He’s still young and everyday things still can surprise him. He’s strong on the leash…still needs a little training. He loves other dogs and totally ignored my cats in the house in Texas and is in foster near Lacey, WA with two dogs and two cats and doing great. <br/><br/>He is gentle and loves treats…a little leery of strangers but a gentle voice and treats wins him over quickly. He is strong and healthy…good for someone who wants a companion for hiking or running. He is good for long walks. He is 55#s and because off his size I would not put small children with him. Larger children would be able to keep up with him. We believe he is part Pit and part Australian Cattle Dog. Only a DNA test will tell for sure. He is house trained and crate trained. He does great riding in the car and is getting better at getting in the car voluntarily. I have found he learns quickly…smart dog. He knows his name but for a nickname we call him TACO PACO. The thing that makes him cute is his ears… they make him look like “The Flying Nun.” He’s so cute with such BIG ears! We say good with children but likely those would be at least 7 yrs old and up.<br/><br/>Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention.
